Night Elements distinguished as Best of the Best
Hess wins prestigious design award
In competition for the Red Dot 2006, Hess Form + Licht GmbH of
Villingen-Schwenningen took the Best of the Best prize for its Night
Elements outdoor lighting system, joining the ranks of Apple, whose
iPod won its category, the worldwide leader in mobile phones,
Motorola, Junghans, and other internationally known companies.
Available for twelve different award categories, the internationally
coveted quality seal for industrial and consumer products is conferred
on the winner of the respective category once a year. This year, the
24-member jury of internationally recognized designers had to decide
between over 2068 entries submitted from 41 countries. In addition to
the Red Dot award for leading design, the best of each product
category receives the honourable designation as Best of Best.
